Friday DAY 5
3-30-07
6:47pm--Our
mission in Haiti is finished. We have just flown back to Miami & I am
waiting on a connecting flight
out. This week was a rollercoaster for sure! I thank God for keeping
us safe & letting us help so many people. Despite some setbacks &
disappointments this week, overall the mission was no doubt a success.
Gods hand was in it! We thank our missionaries the Brian's for their
wonderful hospitality & for working so hard to set up the clinics. These
folks are doing a good work in Haiti. We also thank Pastor LaPort for
traveling with us each day, interpreting & helping wherever needed. Elise
was a great
help
interpreting as well on the last day. Thanks to all who contributed to
make this mission a success: Mercy Medical Network, Compassion Services
International, Scotty Slaydon, The Pentecostals of Cooper City, Mark Hattabaugh,
Landmark Church in Bethalto, Mark Burk, Danny
Wilkerson, Dr. Jay Park, Goodlettsville UPC & Pastor Tim Zuniga.
THANK YOU ALL! If you would like to be a part of future missions like this
you can write to the Touch God Ministries address above, or email me at llevine@touchgodministries.com.

Thursday DAY 4
3-29-07
7:24pm--Last
day of clinic. A day of joy & a lot of tears. We were two men short
so it was pretty chaotic at
first.
We totally
changed our mode of operation & we ended up seeing well over 120 patients. Our
biggest day yet! There are UN soldiers all over here trying to keep peace.
They have calmed things a bit. On the road to "Bergamorth" for clinic, our
new interpreter Elsie let us know that were we drove last night to church &
today to the clinic was "very, very dangerous." It was too late when we
found out, we were almost there. God kept His hand on us. One tough
case was a baby that Doc Jay said would never walk. We prayed
(see picture)
& put Him in Gods hands . This place has a way of making you feel really
helpless even though you help so many. The
bright
spot of the day was we got to visit an orphanage after the clinic. The
kids were
so happy to see us. It was pretty awesome. We gave out medicine, vitamins
& prayed God's hand on the whole operation.
(2
pictures of orphan children)
We found out by phone at the end of clinic that 2 of the 3 triplet died today.
What makes it so bad was that they shouldn't have died. They were doing ok
& Dr. Jay had really helped them & the mother, but someone else locally stepped
in today possibly trying to help & the babies were dead in just hours.
Pretty senseless. Pray for the last one, she is in a local hospital.
We leave tomorrow. We'll probably post again in the morning. Good
night from Haiti... - LDL
6:22am--Up and about ready to head out. For those wondering, we are in Central US time. Mosquitoes about carried us away last night. 1 1/2 hour drive to the clinic. This is a pretty neat place. Haitians are so friendly. We'll check in later... - LDL
Wednesday
DAY 3
3-28-07
11:57pm--All
pretty tired. Saw over 100 patients again today. Same type of cases
as yesterday. Some pretty crazy stuff!
(pic of team l to
r: R. Brian, L. Levine, Dr. J. Park, D. Wilkerson & M. Hattabaugh) We
left from the clinic in the town of "Martissant," drove one hour to eat dinner
at a restaurant, then drove an hour more to our service in "Bergamorth."
We haven't broke for lunch either day of the clinic, too many patients to see.
We're using hand sanitizer like crazy. I'm rambling a bit, sorry, just
wiped out. I had to take a blood sample from a little girl today...she
cried like crazy & had to be held
down...not
fun at all. When it was over, she was ok, I was shaking like a leaf.
Not quite cut out for the medical field. Here's a picture of a toe we
treated on a man that had
a HORRIBLE case of fungus. Pretty nasty. Service was great. In
a little concrete church with only 1 Coleman lantern for light. Haitian
worship is a beautiful thing. Everyone testified & I preached while former
missionary Danny Wilkerson
interpreted. God moved in a powerful way. At least 5 were Holy Ghost
filled for the first time. Tomorrow we are having clinic in the same
church we had service in tonight. Mark Hattabaugh & Danny Wilkerson leave
in the early AM, so Dr. Jay & I are on our own for clinic tomorrow. We
head home on Friday. Thanks for all your prayers. Email me
your thoughts on the blog llevine@touchgodministries.com
Goodnight...- LDL

Tuesday DAY 2
3-27-07
9:32pm--What
a day!
Now
the crew is settling in for
the night. This first day of clinic was a little overwhelming & we're all wiped out physically & mentally. We
treated over 100 patients! Pretty amazing stuff. We handed out
numbers to people who needed care & saw as many as we could before dark.
Headaches, acid problems, Diabetes, Palsy, many
infections, wounds, worms, std's, ringworms, colds, flu's,
voodoo burns, parasites, malaria, rat bites and a few other odd situations were
the order of the day. Its kind of difficult to put into words all we
witnessed. God really helped us. We helped A LOT of people.
Tomorrow we head out to another village about a hour & a half away. We'll
go straight from the clinic to church, pray God's strength for us. Check
in tomorrow... - LDL
7:17am-- Headed out to the town of Turbe' for the clinic. Pray for our safety. Dealing w/many infectious illnesses etc...we'll check in later. - LDL
Monday DAY 1
3-26-07
10:47pm--We
are in the process of sorting out supplies for tomorrows clinic
(picture of Dr. Park & Mark
Hattabaugh). We have a TON of stuff! We cooked
dinner
for the crew tonight so Sister Brian didn't have to. There are not really
any restaurants we can eat at in this area. Saw a bit of the city today as
we prepared for triage. EXTREME POVERTY! People bound by years of
witchcraft & voodoo worship. We went into the village to check on the
preemie triplets. They are 3 girls born on March 16th, & none are much
over 2 lbs. They call them
"Wo-wo
1, 2, & 3." Interesting names. Mom was in bad shape too & we were
able to help her as well. She is possibly suffering from a form of
parasite on the skin. Babies were all malnourished. (Luke Levine w/baby)
Mom & dad have 5 other children. Dr. thinks they should make if they don't
get sick and mom does as told. We prayed & Gods presence was awesome!
Keep praying, tomorrows a big day. - LDL
11:45am--We have arrived safe and sound. Haiti is in Central time. We are in Port Au Prince, Haiti. Great flight, good landing & we made it through customs without a hitch. That was God considering we were brought over 500 lbs of luggage containing enough vitamins & medicine for an army! 102,000 different pills, over 1000 needles, thousands of bandages, creams & ointments. We even brought bags of candy for the kids! We are on our way to the town of Titaye to check on pre-mature triplets that were born days ago. They are only about 2lbs each! Dr. Park is going to treat them & the mother. We brought preemie clothes & bottles for them as well. THANK YOU FOR PRAYING we are headed out...I'll check back in later. - LDL

National Conference in La Paz, Bolivia--January 2006
We were honored for the invitation to participate in Bolivia's annual General Conference held in La Paz. It was a tremendous week with God pouring out His spirit in unprecedented manner. We had 116 to receive the Holy Ghost for the very first time! This was a record number for the church in Bolivia. What a time of Victory! There were also several instant miracles of healing that God performed during the conference. The conference preacher were Pastor Mark Hattabaugh of Cooper City, FL, Evangelist Luke Levine of St. Louis, MO, and it was a great honor to also have my pastor Steve Willeford of St. Louis, MO as a part of the team.
April 05 Mission to Guatemala
In
April we assisted a team of nearly 50 men from all over the US in a missions to
re-model the Bible School in Guatemala. It was a very successful
week in that
we accomplished a
tremendous amount of work including new electric & lights, all new
kitchen,
board room, bathroom,
re-finished wood work & trim, & new wash room. We had time to have one
service at a local church
and saw 7 receive the Holy Ghost.
The Pastors
pictured who co-sponsored the trip were (l to r) John
Shivers
of Stockton, CA; Kent Elliott of Manchester, CT; Missionary to Guatemala, Brad

400 Filled with the Holy Ghost in Manaus, Brazil!
On the
banks of the Black River (Rio Negro), just yards away from the mighty merging of
the Amazon and Black rivers, nearly 8,000 Brazilians gathered to worship God
anticipating an outpouring of His Spirit. Just as the
the two rivers merge in such spectacular manner, the power of almighty God began
to flow as His people called on His name.

In every
service as Evangelist Luke Levine, and Pastor Mark Hattabaugh of Cooper City,
Florida ministered along with Missionary Bennie DeMerchant, God's Spirit moved
in miraculous fashion. Many miracles took place in each service, however
the greatest miracle of all was that when the conference had come to a close,
God had filled around 400 people with the baptism of the Holy Ghost for the very
first time! To God be the Glory
for
the things He has done.
Thank you for your faithful support in making this ministry possible.
San Salvador, El Salvador
On March 22, approximately 800 People gathered in a high school auditorium in downtown San Salvador for the "2003 Capital City Campaign." It was an incredible time with many miracles taking place and the Holy Ghost being poured out in a very powerful way.
The
first service was focused on miracles and healing as Brother Levine preached on
Faith. Countless numbers testified of being healed and many who came in pain
were instantly touched by the power of the Holy Ghost. One lady came in a
wheelchair paralyzed from the waist down and dying of Aids (HIV). When the Word
of Faith went forth, she came out
of the wheelchair with not one hand being laid on her. Leaving the wheelchair empty she began
to dance all across th
e
altar area worshipping the Lord for His Healing power. Her Pastor picked up the empty wheelchair and
began dancing
with it over his head! She was instantly raised up and completely healed!
It was the second service
that was marked by an amazing spirit
of
unity. Brother Levine preached a short
time on repenting and humbling
ourselves before God. The aisles and
altars flooded with people on their faces crying out to God in repentance. This
went on for nearly an hour and then the body of Christ began to minister to one
another in a way "we hadn't seen in some time" said missionary Scotty Slaydon.
The Word of Faith went forth again, and the Holy Ghost fell in a powerful way.
When it was all said and done, at least
55 were confirmed to have received the Holy Ghost for the very first time! To
God be the Glory for the things He has done!
